"I have a DeLonghi EC155 and also the smaller size fits very nicely for tamping. it's able to hold over fifty lbs of pressure with no problem. I used the tamping technique from smart Eats, where you set 50 lbs of pressure, then twist."

"I purchased Terry's Tamper when doing a little analysis on Amazon, as I had simply purchased my 1st Espresso maker. This tamper will the task meant all right and was quite cheap. i would suggest it."
