"This package consists of two replacement water filters for the Cuisinart Coffee Maker which we purchased June 2010. The filters contain charcoal and are easy to replace and safe to use. I highly recommend using and replacing these filters on a regular basis, we find that the filter definitely separates unseen micro-impurities from the water before the coffee is brewed. And even though we have well water and are lucky to have a clean and healthy supply, we have still noticed a difference in the taste and aroma of the coffee. Charcoal filters are natural and extremely effective. We find this product to work surprisingly well, quality made and priced accurately. "
